Jack 96.3 FM to air LTHS varsity football games Lake Travis High School football fans can experience games in a new way this season. The LTHS Cavaliers’ varsity football team games were broadcast live on FM radio for the first time through Jack 96.3 FM on Aug. 30. What you need to know Broadcasters Marc Hoenig and Bucky Godbolt will provide a play-by-play for each game this season, according to a news release from Recharge Media. Local Austin music station Jack 96.3 FM reaches an average of over 600,000 monthly listeners in the greater Austin area, according to Recharge Media information. Along with LTHS, Sun Radio Sports Network broadcasts football games for Dripping Springs High School, Blanco High School, Gonzalez High School and Giddings High School.
Leander ISD to have 3 races on the ballot Each of the three races for a Leander ISD board of trustees seat will be contested during the Nov. 5 election as seven candi- dates have filed applications for a place on the ballot. Dates to know On Nov. 5, the district will hold an election for places 3, 4 and 5 as the trustees in these positions reach the end of their current four-year terms. The filing period for the upcoming election closed at 5 p.m. Aug. 19, with seven applicants filing before the deadline.
