FROM THE GENERAL MANAGER
Learn how health care options are growing
in the area. Our health care options continue to make Montgomery County one of the most attractive counties to live in Texas. In our second front-page story we examine the need for an additional civil court in Montgomery County. Our coverage explains how civil courts operate, what kinds of cases they handle and what is needed going forward. I want to wish all of our loyal readers a wonderful holiday season and a happy new year. I look forward to an exciting Annual Community Guide that our team is already eagerly putting together to bring you in January.
My favorite time of year has arrived. December brings the holiday season and the hustle and bustle of spending time with family, and reecting on all that we are thankful for. My health and the health of my family and those I love is always at the top of my list. I am thankful for the medical center we have right here in our own backyard. Our rst front-page story this month explores the additions and expansions in the health care industry in south Montgomery County. Area hospitals plan improvements including adding patient beds and cancer resources as well as a host of new job opportunities

The holiday season, that starts at Thanksgiving and ends on New Year’s day, is my favorite time of year. For me, it’s about being with family and loved ones, enjoying old traditions and creating new ones. But, the holiday season can also be a very stressful time. It’s very common for families to experience financial pressures this time of year. Having enough money for the kids’ presents, travel expenses and just keeping up with the Jones’ can often elevate stress levels and even cause depression. The time to prepare financially for the holiday season is not now, but all year long. If you need help getting your financial world in order, work with an advisor who, as a fiduciary, will put your needs first and help you get on the road to financial security.
