On Oct. 14, Tomball ISD trustees approved a $647,120 purchase of furniture items from School Specialty using 2021 bond funds for the district’s Creekside Park Junior High School addition. Remember this? Creekside Park Junior High School is undergoing renovations that will include an addition for fth graders in the 2026-27 school year for $39 million. The project is part of TISD’s 2021 bond package, and is anticipated to be completed in August 2026, per prior reporting. Also on the agenda The board also approved PBK
Architects as the rm for the multiprogram activity centers at Tomball, Tomball Memorial and Tomball West high schools. The 6-1 vote allows Chief Financial Ocer Zack Boles to nalize contract negotiations using bond 2025 funds. Trustee Jennifer Kratky voted against the recommendation and said she made her decision solely based on the company’s nancial support of a political action committee. Kratky made a similar decision this June when school board members approved Lockwood, Andrews and Newnam as the construction and project manager for 2025 bond projects.
