City Futsal soccer park to be constructed in Keller City Futsal, a new sports center, is scheduled to be constructed along Golden Triangle Boulevard. The details Futsal, commonly translated to “indoor foot- ball,” comes from the Spanish phrase “fútbol sala” and the Portuguese phrase “futebol de salão.” City Futsal co-owner Esteban Mariel said while the business focuses on the indoor soccer game, the location will also o er space for sports like volleyball and basketball. The sports park will have two small-sided outdoor turf elds and six indoor multi-sport courts, Mariel said. Ariat will expand its regional headquarters and construct a new regional distribution center in two Fort Worth locations as part of the agreement with the city. City documents state Ariat must provide at least 100 full-time jobs, plus 150 jobs at the regional distribution center, by Dec. 31, 2029, during Phase 2 of the expansion. For Phase 1, Ariat must provide 150 additional jobs at the regional distribution center by the updated Dec. 31, 2032, deadline.
