want to be able to look at a record, look at the artwork, open it up, read about it and educate themselves on what they’re listening to instead of just clicking a button,” Waldrum said. What else? Walton said Sound Revolution carries around 2,500 new records and 400 used records at a time. The record store gets new orders weekly with modern records from Sabrina Carpenter and Taylor Swift to classics such as Nirvana, Radiohead and The Beatles. With long-term employees that have been with Sound Revolution for 10 plus years, Walton said customers can expect a knowledgeable staˆ that can help guide them based on their taste in music. At Sound Revolution customers can also nd CD’s, record players, walkmans, band T-shirts, posters, acces- sories and skateboards. “What’s happened also is that in schools you’re not allowed to have your cell phone anymore, so kids are coming in and getting walkmans and CD players,” Walton said. Walton said most recently she has seen younger generations return to the use of older media and navigate through classics their parents listened to. “Owning physical media is coming back. People
