JANUARY THROUGH FEB. 12 CATCH A PLAY The Public Theater of San Antonio performs “Nina Simone: Four Women,” a play that uses famed singer Nina Simone’s songs to give voice to a group of women suering self-hatred the day after a bomb kills four girls in a Birmingham, Alabama, church on Sept. 16, 1963. 7:30 p.m. (Fri. and Sat.), 2 p.m. (Sun.). $15-$45. 800 W.
