Stevens appointed mayor pro tem Place 5 Round Rock City Council member Kristin Stevens will fill the role of mayor pro tem, Mayor Craig Morgan said during a packet briefing June 11. Samsung Highway connects area roadways Gov. In April, the company signed a preliminary memorandum agreement with the U.S. Depart- ment of Commerce. In exchange for an estimated investment of $45 billion in the Taylor area, Samsung received $6.4 billion in subsidies from the federal government.
