Why are you the best candidate for the job? I am an experienced, well-educated career law enforcement professional serving 24 years at the Williamson County Sheriff’s Office. I hold an MBA and was selected to attend the FBI National Academy located in Quantico, VA. I have proven results in leadership and experience managing large organiza- tions. I have considerably better judgment. I will return professionalism and trust to our Williamson County Sheriff’s Office and our citizens. If elected, what will be your top priorities?? My priorities are 1) a hiring process that vets deputy qualifications/back- grounds prior to hiring; 2) proper training for deputies responding to mental health/domestic violence crises; 3) re-establishing a focused Crisis Interven- tion Team; 4) maintaining a safe community; every citizen should feel pro- tected, not fearful; and 5) restoring public trust and rebuilding the relationship with our citizens and our county leaders. How will you use your position to help Williamson County recover from the impacts of COVID-19? In response to COVID-19, I will continue to follow the guidelines issued from state leaders and the CDC, ensuring Williamson County is informed. My prior- ity would be to educate the public, educate my leadership team, and educate deputies. Continued reinforcement to follow social distancing guidelines will naturally lower the impact. Community education and awareness is the key. I will focus on keeping our community informed and safe!
