Bonds fuel Hutto High renovations

Several Hutto High School renovations are expected to be completed over the next couple years, according to administrators.

Renovations to Hutto High School are expected to continue through 2027. What you need to know Bond-funded renovations to HHS are tentatively slated for completion by March 2027, said Casey Sledge of Sledge Engineer- ing on April 24, although that could change as crews work to complete multiple projects. Work to modernize the campus first began in 2022, using funding from the 2019 bond. The details Sledge said crews are actively working to construct the steel frame for the competition gym, and that expansions to parking for the campus and adjacent stadium are substantially complete. The district is also in the process of ordering equipment for career and technology education spaces included in the modernization.
