The 5K will start at 8:30 a.m., and the one-mile Fun Run will follow at 9 a.m. Proceeds from the event will benefit the Veterans Memorial, slated for construction at a future date at Frontier Park. The event will feature photos with Santa, cupcakes with Mrs. Claus, live reindeer, tree lighting and more. In addition, food and beverage vendors will be available.

Prosper Arbor Day Celebration The Town of Prosper will celebrate Arbor Day with local Girl Scout and Boy Scout troops who will plant trees in a Prosper park with the help of parks operations staff. During the event, Mayor David Bristol will read a proclamation, and proper planting techniques will be discussed. • Nov. 4, 9-10 a.m. • Free • Windsong Park, 950 Copper Canyon Drive, Prosper • www.prospertx.gov Workshops with Wally Learn the basics of 3D printing in a workshop. The workshop will provide a demonstration of a print in action and is tailored toward beginners. Prosper Christmas Festival The Prosper Christmas Festival is the town’s premier event and features a tree lighting. Other activities include Santa’s workshop, community stage performances, a Kids Christmas Shoppe for young shoppers and more.
