Credit Union of Texas partnered with www.planoblackhistory.org, Douglass Visions Committee and Heritage Farmstead Museum to create a free, in-person experience celebrating the accomplishments of local Black leaders in Plano. The mobile museum serves as a resource for the community, and attendees at the kicko event can experience a panel discussion with local Black leaders moderated by moderated by Douglass Visions Committee’s Tamara Thomas. The exhibit includes a virtual walkthrough of the most popular displays from www.planoblackhistory.org, along with artifacts from the Plano African American Museum and the Jubilee exhibit curated by Heritage Farmstead Museum.
