6 dessert-based businesses open in Frisco Multiple new Frisco businesses opened to satisfy residents’ sweet treat cravings. Some of the new businesses include locally owned dessert locations such as Pietro’s Italian Bakery, The Pie Dish, Zero Gradi and Fluellen Cupcakes. Pietro’s Italian Bakery reopened after it moved from former location on Custer Road to 6363 Dallas Parkway, Ste. 211, Frisco. Its new space was once a Great Harvest Bread Co. location before it closed in early May. Pietro’s also goes beyond dessert and oers bruschetta, lasagna, fettucine Alfredo and more savory dishes. Fluellen Cupcakes opened on Panther Creek Parkway in early August. It oers classic and seasonal cupcake avors. Zero Gradi, with locations in Dallas and McKin- ney, opened a Frisco site in July. Several dessert chains also opened in Frisco. These include Cold Stone Creamery and Cookie Co. The Pie Dish, owned locally by Julia Henricks, opened Dec. 7 with a ribbon cutting. It oers seasonal and classic pies. “[The grand opening] was literally the perfect day,” she said.
