DRIPPING SPRINGS ISD

While Austin is considered a property wealthy district, the district is facing budgetary and enrollment issues. This year, the district approved raises for teachers and sta, despite that causing a projected $53 million shortfall.

Dripping Springs ISD continues to grow its student body, causing strain on its facilities. This year, voters passed a $223.7 million bond to construct a new elementary school, expand Sycamore Springs Middle School, and design a new elementary school and middle school, among other projects.
