15 Top Notch Axe Throwing The entertainment venue closed its Round Rock location due to “leasing issues” at the Mays Crossing retail center, according to a social media post shared in December. 14 The Kenney Fort Pub The restaurant and pub announced via Facebook that it plans to close in early January. The English pub, owned by Tim Jones, first opened in November 2020 after Jones and his family moved from England to Round Rock. The restaurant’s menu has featured American fare, but also included English options such as fish and chips, bangers and mash, and sticky toffee pudding.
