The Baylor Scott & White Medical Center- Frisco at PGA Parkway will oer inpatient care, comprehensive emergency care, surgical services, specialized care and extensive women’s services. It is set to open in July. The hospital is just one part of a 40-acre campus outtted with medical oces and future growth potential, hospital ocials said. At the new facility, an entire oor is dedicated to women’s services outtted with a private elevator and door, said Christin Timmons, the hospital’s vice president and chief nursing ocer. “I feel like [women’s services] is so unique to this facility,” Timmons said. “There’s a lot of growing families in this community and the communities that we’re going to serve.” Each room is outtted with a tablet that has information regarding patients, such as fall risk warnings that typically are shown publicly at other facilities, Timmons said. The women’s oor oers an emergency room specically for expectant mothers and its own operating rooms. “We are patient and family focused,” she said.

The medical center has an emergency department tted with 15 rooms, safe rooms, two trauma suites and more. The trauma suites are similar to an operating room higher acuity care like motor vehicle accidents or even delivery a baby. It is equipped with strong lighting as well.
