Roll Shack has two locations in Abilene, Texas, and this will be the first Central Texas location. Owner Cody Busbee said he is friends with the original location’s owner and wanted to bring Roll Shack to Austin. Rocky’s Bar, named after the hotel’s former mascot, a cat called Rocky, offers cocktails and shave ice from a walk-up window. This location is one of two new Cabo Bob’s restaurants in South Austin; the company’s owners opened an Onion Creek location in August.
