ThunderCloud Subs Turkey Trot Benefiting the nonprofit whose goal is to end homelessness in the area, Caritas of Austin, the ThunderCloud Subs Turkey Trot is known to be the largest 5-mile run in the state and attracts more than 20,000 runners each year. Barktoberfest A festival geared toward dogs and their owners will offer a 3K dog walk and a 5K fun run, all benefiting the Central Texas SPCA. There will also be children and dog costume contests as well as various vendors, a silent auction and more.

Cedar Park Music Festival The Cedar Park Music Festival will benefit the Alzheimer’s Association and The Walk to End Alzheimer’s. Festivalgoers will experience live music from local musicians beginning with harpist Kristen Gibbs in the morning, followed by Americana artist Jeff Plankenhorn at 3 p.m. and Cowboy Crooner Bob Holder at 5:30 p.m. The event will also offer food and craft vendors, raffles, and prizes.
