Office building coming to Northline development Commercial real estate firm St. John Proper- ties announced Sept. 5 the company will break ground on a new office building situated in Leander’s Northline development in spring 2024. The overview Spanning 120,000 feet, the new space is considered to be Leander’s first Class A office building. “Class A buildings are best in class, includ- ing finishes, amenities and management services,” said Brooke Harlander, a regional partner at St. John Properties, in an email to Community Impact. The ground floor of the four-story building is designated for retail and restaurant space, while small businesses, such as law firms, tech compa- nies and business consultants, are anticipated to occupy the other three floors located above the
Work continues on 22- acre development Work on infrastructure is underway at Pointe 183, a new medical and professional development in Leander that broke ground in May. The big picture Pointe 183 will be on 22 acres of land on the frontage of 183A Toll, adjacent to St. David’s Emergency Center. Phase 1 of the project is planned to reach completion in summer 2024. This seven-acre section of the project includes medical and office buildings as well as an animal hospital, Cadre Construction President Ron Evans said. The company is looking into restaurants, retail options, hotels and specialty medical providers for the remaining 15 acres, Evans said.

The building, which is located at 1157 Main St., Leander, does not yet have an official name, Harlander said. “We’re in the process of creating a downtown mixed-use environment, and the addition of this building is the first big step in diversifying and enhancing commercial space at Northline,” Northline founder and developer Alex Tynberg said in the Sept. 5 news release.
