With the vision of working toward no fatalities on city roads, Cedar Park City Council adopted the new Master Mobility Plan on Sept. 14. The Master Mobility Plan pulls together elements of previous plans to make the city’s approach to transportation planning and goals more cohesive. Congested intersections set for improvement under the plan include: • Bell Boulevard and Cypress Creek Road • Bagdad Road and New Hope Drive • Bell Boulevard and Whitestone Boulevard Improvements could include adjusting signal timings, adding turn lanes or adding medians, according to city documents. the plan include: • Park Street shared-use path from Lakeline Boulevard to 183A Toll • Lakeline Boulevard shared-use path from Little Elm Trail to New Hope Drive In addition to its focus on intersection improvements and trails, the city will also look into adding an Express bus stop in Cedar Park through Capital Metro.

The rst phase will span 271,689 square feet and consist of three Class A industrial buildings, or new structures built in desirable locations. According to the New Hope development team, the rst phase is estimated to deliver completed shell space in spring 2024 with tenant nish outs starting as soon as January. The second phase of New Hope will span 213,700 square feet and feature Class A industrial buildings. Additionally, a future 32-acre parcel is also in design. Located adjacent to Phase 2, this section of the property is zoned for mixed-use commercial development and could include entertainment, hotels, oces, restaurants and retail.

Once completed, New Hope will be an almost 500,000-square-foot mixed-use development.
