The district lost two more points in the same category for spending 2.4% more on adminis- trative costs than the state thresh- old. Johnson noted that while the district is above the threshold, it had decreased since the previous year, from 8.94% to 8.76%. GCISD did not lose points any- where else in the rating, gaining all points in other categories such as debt payment, nancial reporting and compliance, per Johnson’s report.
Financial accountability scores near GCISD GCISD has scored over a 90 for the last 23 years, earning a “superior” rating. Nearby school districts also scored in line with GCISD.
