Voters pass Carroll ISD’s tax rate election Carroll ISD voters have approved the new tax rate, according to unofficial election results from the Tarrant County elections department, with 57.68% in favor and 42.32% against. The measure will also reduce the interest and sinking tax rate, from $0.2948 down to $0.2441, while the maintenance and operations rate would rise from $0.6669 up to $0.6853. Interest and sinking funds are used to pay debt. The total tax rate would be $0.9294 per $100, down from $0.9617 per $100.
Reece won the election with 4,567 votes against Martindale’s 3,678. About 222,995 out of roughly 1.3 million registered voters voted in Tarrant county voted in the Novem- ber 2025 elections, resulting in about 17% turnout, according to county data. CISD officials called for the election in June after Trustee Dudley Jordan resigned.
