Katy’s youth have many options for day and overnight summer camps this year. From science, technology, engineering, arts and math programs to sports and dance, parents can nd a camp for kids of any age group, interest and ability. This list is not comprehensive.

12 Funtastik Labs will host STEM-themed summer camps where campers can enjoy learning about subjects such as robotics, chemistry, coding and art. KATY 1 Benedictine Tutors will host students for full- and half-day educational camps. The two camp types focus on reading and writing as well as math and STEM activities. During Math Camp, students will receive individu- alized teaching of new concepts based on their rising grade level and do STEM-related projects. At the English Camp, students will be given a reading assessment to determine their reading and writing level. Campers will participate in word games and writing projects to encourage creativity and strengthen their thinking skills. Discounts are available for those who register before May 1. 2 Bobby Sanders Basketball Camp will host six informative and instructional training sessions to boys and girls who love basketball and want to improve their skills, especially shooting. The camp seeks to meet athletes at their particular ability level. The rst four sessions will build upon traditional skills, and the nal two sessions are intensive shooting camps. Players can attend both morning and afternoon sessions of each training camp.
