Parks and Recreation facilities to see upgrades The Woodlands Township has allocated $5.74 million to renovate its Parks and Recreation building and campus, according to information presented at its April 23 meeting. The Parks and Recreation Department oˆce, located at 8203 Millennium Forest Drive, is approximately 6,400 square feet in size but has not been able to keep up with the township’s oˆce and equipment needs, according to agenda mate- rials. The oˆce contains teams for departments such as aquatics, park operations, park planning and construction, and mosquito control, among others. The Woodlands oers FIFA shuttle service A shuttle service connecting The Wood- lands area to NRG Stadium for the FIFA World Cup 2026 began taking reservations May 1, according to a news release from The Woodlands Township. The Soccer Shuttle will oer round-trip services on all Houston match days. What to expect Passengers must have a valid FIFA World Cup 2026 match ticket, according to the release. Reservations for the Soccer Shuttle are free through funding from Houston-Galveston Area Council, but a nonrefundable adminis- trative fee of $8.50 and other fees may apply.
