As a safety precaution, Kim said he is working with Geographic Information Services to conrm a physical address and mile markers for emergency vehicles to reach the trail. The Dominion Hike and Bike Trail will span along Panther Creek Park- way in Frisco, from Preston Road to Hillcrest Road, through the Dominion at Panther Creek neighborhood. “It’s an exciting project,” Kim said. “People can get around with this trail as an alternate route, maybe biking to [Professional Golfers’ Association of America] or Frisco’s other new developments.”

Dominion Hike and Bike Trail in Frisco will be opening fall 2023. The Dominion Hike and Bike Trail, a 1.2-mile project between Hillcrest Road and Preston Road, will be open to the public in October, Senior Park Planner Mike Kim said. The cost of the trail’s construction was an estimated total of just over $5 million, Kim added, with funding from city bonds voted on by citizens. The trail’s contracting alone costs $4.5 million, not including design and engineering, ocials said. The trail will consist of three “light- weight but strong” bridges, stone walls, handrails and a concrete trail, according to the trail’s nal plan. This trail is an “important, long connection in Frisco’s Hike and Bike Masterplan,” Kim said. Frisco has over 47 miles of trails throughout the city, with more
