Hopkins St., San Marcos, Stonewall Warehouse opened in 2014 above Freddy C’s Lounge. Stonewall Warehouse manag- er Lena Jacobs said she and her sta received news that the business was set to close and that all sta would be let go on New Year’s Day. Owner Jaime Frailicks told Community Impact in a statement that after years of trying to improve a failing business he thought it best to take up an oer of purchase, and that sta received two weeks severance beyond the sudden closure. A GoFundMe was also created for the employees.

The location will be the home to a gym and tness center and Kettlebell Cafe, which will sell customers smoothies and other healthy snacks. The gym will focus on group training and semiprivate training, oer tness classes and a running club, and host events. Owned by business partners Amanda Benavidez and David McCartney, the
