McKinney voters showed favor for four out of the five bond propositions up for consideration on the May election ballot, according to official results from Collin County Elections. Over 6,000 McKinney voters cast ballots on the bond items. The four approved bond items total $449.5 mil- lion and are expected to fund a number of projects across the city, including a renovation project at the McKinney Public Works South campus, additional public safety facilities and a variety of parks and road projects. The failed bond item, Proposition B, would have allotted $36 million for the construction of a new municipal court facility.
