6 Coit Road phase one widening Project: Crews are constructing four-lanes of an ultimate six-lane concrete roadway from First Street to Prosper Trail. The project will be done in two phases with another phase being done from Prosper Trail to Frontier Parkway. Update: The project is under construction and expected to wrap this summer. • Timeline: summer 2025-summer 2026 • Cost: $23.64 million • Funding source: town of Prosper 7 Oklahoma Drive construction Project: The project will replace the asphalt roadway with two concrete lanes along Oklahoma Drive from Pecan Street to Malone Street. Update: The project is under construction and expected to wrap later this year. • Timeline: estimated completion September 2026 • Cost: $3.04 million • Funding source: city of Celina 8 CR 52 reconstruction Project: CR 52 will be reconstructed from FM 428 to Outer Loop.
1 First Street widening Project: First Street will be widened from a two-lane rural roadway to a four-lane divided suburban roadway between Dallas North Tollway and Coleman Street. The project includes concrete curb and gutter roadway, underground drainage improvements and water line. Update: The project is in the pre-construction phase. • Timeline: spring 2026-fall 2027 • Cost: $27.79 million • Funding source: town of Prosper 2 Coit Road phase two widening Project: Coit Road is being constructed to a six-lane roadway. This project will focus on the design and construction of four-lanes from Prosper Trail to Frontier Parkway. This is the second phase of a Coit Road project with the first phase actively under construction. Update: The project is in the design phase and is expected to start construction later this year.
