Bar, music venue to open Cowboys and Cadillacs, a new rooftop bar and music venue, is nearing completion and is set to open in downtown New Braunfels this fall. The update Construction is in its final stages, with exterior stucco and roofing work scheduled to begin soon. “We’re getting really close to the finish line and hope to open in the fall, ideally before the holi- days,” said Cameron Corzine, owner of Cowboys and Cadillacs. Corzine aims to contribute to the downtown revitalization while preserving the area’s historical character. “We’re really trying to bring back that history of the buildings and what downtown was,” Corzine said. Hillside Terrace to open at Schlitterbahn Hillside Terrace, located at 400 North Liberty Avenue and formerly known as the Festhaus building in Schlitterbahn Water Park, is undergoing a renovation, expected to be completed by early 2025. The details The $680,000 project is a two-level, 6,798-square-foot facility featuring dining areas and visitor amenities, said Chris Ozimek, Schlitterbahn’s senior manager of brand and communications.

events, small concerts and high-end cocktail service. “We are after a higher-end market where we’re going to do everything fresh,” Corzine said. The menu will focus on organic, non-GMO options, and local vendors will play a key role in the bar’s operations, he said. “It’s all about high-quality, locally sourced ingredients and creating a unique, upscale experi- ence,” Corzine said. What’s next Exterior stucco and roofing are set to begin in the coming weeks, with inspections and interior finish-out to follow, Corzine said.
