Hwy. 114, US 377 interchange improvements

Trophy Club fiber optic network construction

US 377 lane widening and additions US 377 will be under construction as part of a project to widen and add lanes to the road. The project will begin at Henrietta Creek Road in Roanoke and continue up through Flower Mound, concluding in Argyle. A section of the project from Henrietta Creek Road to James Street in Roanoke is set to finish on Oct. 18, while the entire project does not yet have an end date listed. Timeline: Jan. 14-Oct. 18 (Roanoke sec- tion); total project completion date TBD Cost: $18.8 million Funding source: TxDOT

SH 170 construction As part of the Alliance Connector project, the Texas Department of Transportation is constructing discontinuous main lanes and operational improvements along SH 170 from I-35W to Hwy. 114 for 6 miles within Fort Worth and Westlake. The SH 170 eastbound entrance ramp to Hwy. 114 is closed until early 2022, and traffic is detoured to the SH 170 eastbound front- age road. The Beach Street crossover at SH 170 is closed until summer. Timeline: September 2020-fall 2023 Cost: $99 million Funding source: TxDOT

Construction on the interchange at the intersection of Hwy. 114 and US 377 in Roanoke will take place over the next year. Updates include expanding US 377 from two lanes to three as well as adding designated left-turn lanes at Crockett, Main and Denton streets. Timeline: Jan. 17, 2022-Feb. 1, 2023 Cost: $32.4 million Funding source: TxDOT

Construction began Feb. 7 to add a new fiber optic network through OneSource Communications in Trophy Club. The first phase of the five-phase plan will have service online in late March or early April. The other four phases are expected to be complete by late spring. Construc- tion is being done from 8 a.m. to 7 p.m. on weekdays, and the city expects the disruptions to be minimal. Timeline: February-late spring Cost: private funding Funding source: OneSource Communi- cations
