The KimoKawaaii Anime and Convention will return to Conroe for its second annual Anime Experience event. The event will include cosplay contests, voice-over sessions, panels, artists and voice actors. 10 a.m.-5:30 p.m. $50 (weekend pass). All will be available for purchase at discounted prices. 10 a.m.-5 p.m. (Saturday), 10 a.m.-4 p.m. (Sunday). $12 (adult admission), $5 (kids ages 5-12), free (children age 4 and under). Lone Star Convention and Expo Center, 9055 Airport Road, Conroe. The Lone Star Street Dance will return for a summer dance night, including dancing to country music in the street. The event will give kids the opportunity to enter a competition by decorating a stand with their business and selling to the public. The event will consist of two age groups: 12 and under, and ages 13-18. 9 a.m.-3 p.m. Free (admission), $10 (business booth).
