Palato oers approachable Italian fare in Frisco Although Palato Italian Kitchen and Lounge is located in the Hall Park Hotel, restaurant leaders are pleased to see a balanced mix of local diners

Carl Rogers, director of food and beverage, said the espresso martini as one of his favorite drinks. “We do a house blend of our espresso mix. It has several components—cold brew, espresso and a little decaf espresso. Then we use Licor 43, a little Bailey’s, then vodka,” Rogers said. What else? A Palato food truck is parked in Kaleidoscope Park and serves pizzas and salads. “This is a nice little food outlet because the kids’ pavilion is right here,” Ritten said. “If kids are playing, parents just want to get a quick bite to eat.”
