FROM HANNAH: While most Greater Houston-area school districts are projecting exponential growth over the next decade, data shows Spring ISD is not expected to reach its prepandemic student population for another eight school years. District o cials cite charter schools and COVID-19 as the main causes of this trend, although a recent report from demographics rm Zonda Education shows new housing within the district’s boundaries may o set these challenges.
