What will be your top three priorities if elected?

Be conservative spending taxpayer dollars. In a fast-growing county, we must nd a balance between being proactive and prepared for growth while being conservative spending taxpayer dollars. Support law enforcement, emergency medical services and expand re rescue resources in Guadalupe County. Plan, design and build much-needed local and regional transportation projects while preserving rights of way as development occurs.

Lower taxes and make sure Guadalupe County becomes scally conservative and responsible, provide support for small businesses as well as provide protection for them from corrupt gov- ernment departments and laws, and work with local businesses to help bring more employment opportunities for adults with special needs as well as provide resources for families of children and adults with special needs without using any fund from any type of taxation.

What will be your top three priorities if elected?

I will focus on boosting our education system to the standard students and teachers deserve while removing the educational property tax that continues to impact so many Texans. Ensure that the unavoidable growth we see across our district does not lead to damaging the natural beauty of our home. Ensuring the air stays clean, [water] stays clear, and that we continue to grow responsibly. We need to move past these social-political arguments

My priorities are cutting property taxes, securing the border and ghting the Biden adminis- tration’s radical socialist agenda. The values and principles that have made our state a beacon of freedom and opportunity for the world are under attack, and the voters of Comal and Hays counties have had enough. We must send a strong conservative leader to the Capitol to keep Texas free.

How would you improve transportation within Guadalupe County as well as within the San Antonio-Austin corridor in general?

Continue to be involved as an active policy board and executive committee member on the Alamo Area MPO. Preserve and protect rights of way through major thoroughfare planning (cur- rently under development/updating). Partner with and support our neighboring counties, cities and TxDOT. Advocate for state funding for our region.

I would like to work with those involved and responsible with construction to try to nd ways to improve our roads without threats or actions involving eminent domain or raising taxes. To fund these projects, I would like to help work on nding alternative ways to fund any projects to improve our roads.

How would you improve transportation locally as well as within the San Antonio-Austin corridor in general?

We need to be more proactive instead [of] reactive in our transportation development. Support- ing city bus transport, we need to revisit the bullet train idea to connect the [I-]35 corridor from Austin to San Antonio.

Comal and Hays counties are two of the ve fastest-growing counties in Texas. This gives our district unique challenges, including safe roads, strong schools, and preserving the Hill Country’s natural beauty and resources. I look forward to working with TxDOT, our county commissioners, and constituents to bring the necessary funding to improve our infrastructure for the benet of our citizens and the visitors to the area.
