UH student art to be featured in Katy Mills Mall An updated play area, featuring new murals by local University of Houston students, is coming to Katy Mills Mall. What it means Through a partnership with the Kathrine G. McGovern College of the Arts at the University of Houston, the renovated space will feature original murals as part of an initiative to introduce new, imaginative experiences for families. In total, Katy Mills received 13 mural designs from UH students, which will be featured through- out the mall, said Lisa Connolly, director of market- ing and business development at Katy Mills. Looking ahead Ocials said the new play area is set to open in late February with a grand opening to celebrate the unveiling.

The renovated play area will feature murals from the University of Houston’s Kathrine G. McGovern College of the Arts.
