HOSPITAL UPDATE The Heights Hospital After closing in January 2021, The Heights Hospital reopened in February under new ownership as a full-service acute care community hospital. The new management group also operates Spring Hospital in Spring. Prior to reopening, The Heights Hospital underwent a renovation to get through the regulatory and compliance process. The building features a six-bay emergency room, and has 40 medical-surgical beds and four intensive care unit beds. The facility has capacity for 100 beds total, ocials said.
