FIRST LOOK DINING

BY WARREN BROWN

FRENCH ITALIAN MADE WITH TEXAS TASTES

Unlike Terrace’s sister business in Freiheit Village—Double Schotts—the menu features French and Italian dishes. Some of those include a Texas air, such as risotto served with pork belly. An extensive drink list is also featured at Terrace. Here is some of what is available.

The pesto atbread ($11.99) is made with mozzarella and feta cheese, spinach and diced tomatoes on pesto sauce.

The balsamic atbread ($11.99) comprises Parmesan cream sauce, feta cheese, spinach and tomatoes topped with a balsamic wine reduction.

The pork belly risotto ($14.99) is served on a bed of Parmesan risotto with a white wine reduction sauce and topped with veggie puree.

Opened March 11, the recently remodeled interior space features high-top seating, a pool table and walls adorned with large TVs. Patrons seeking happy hour specials are in luck with daily specials and a list of signature cocktails, including tiki drinks. “We have a lot of tiki drinks, a lot of dierent kinds of served up cocktails and stu like that, but at an aordable price range,” Meadours said. “The goal behind that is basically so people can go out and try new things.”

Terrace features a rooftop patio and full bar with lounge seating and aerial views of Freiheit Village.

The rooftop also serves as a venue for live music performances on Friday and Sat- urday nights and is popular for
