1 Grogans Mill Road at Research Forest Drive right-turn improvements Project: The project will extend a right-turn lane from northbound Grogans Mill Road onto eastbound Research Forest Drive. Update: Engineering design was nearing completion in mid-August and construction will begin in the fall. • Cost: $50,000 (design) • Timeline: June-August (design), fall-TBD (construction) • Funding source: Montgomery County road bond 2 Research Forest Drive at Greenbridge Drive turn-lane extension Project: The project will extend and widen the left- turn lane from eastbound Research Forest Drive to northbound Greenbridge Drive. Update: Engineering design was completed in August and construction will begin this fall. • Cost: $10,500 (design) • Timeline: June-August (design), fall-TBD (construction) • Funding source: Montgomery County road bond 3 Lake Woodlands Drive at Gosling Road intersection improvements Project: The project will extend turn lanes to improve mobility and safety from eastbound Lake Woodlands Drive onto northbound Gosling Road and from westbound Lake Woodlands Drive onto southbound Gosling Road. Update: Engineering design was almost done in mid- August, Montgomery County Precinct 3 oŒcials said. • Cost: $40,000 (design) • Timeline: June-early September (design) • Funding source: Montgomery County road bond 4 Lake Woodlands Drive at East Panther Creek Drive turn-lane extension Project: The project will extend the left-turn lane from westbound Lake Woodlands Drive onto southbound East Panther Creek Drive. 5 David Memorial Drive extension Project: A project to extend David Memorial Drive to Hwy. 242 began in September 2023 under the terms of an interlocal agreement between the city of Shenandoah and Montgomery County. Update: The œrst phase of work is completed to the Conroe city limits, Bleyl said. The œnal portion of the project will now be funded by the Montgomery County road bond approved by voters May 3. The estimate needed to complete construction is $2.5 million,
