3 St. Luke’s Health-The Woodlands St. Luke’s Health has awarded $1.5 million in grants to nonprot agencies serving underserved communities this year, according to a news release. In The Woodlands area, grants include: April 15: Interfaith Community Clinic, $75,000 April 21: Compassion United, $67,000 May 12: Angel Reach, $30,000 May 28: The Rose, $25,000
The hospital system opened the Houston Methodist Comprehensive Care Center in Creekside on April 11 at 26424 Strake Drive, Spring, in a two-story, 32,000-square-foot building. It includes space for specialties such as cardiology, endocrinology, neurology and more. The facility includes a new ambient listening technology, which will be used to help keep track of medical notes so the team can focus on the patient, ocials said.
The hospital plans to open its Medical Plaza 5 building in July. The rst tenants will include the hospital’s The Institute of Rehabilitation and Research outpatient program, hospital ocials said. The new facility will provide rst oor access for all patients as well as expanded space for services, according to the hospital system. It also includes full pediatric therapy programs and expands neuropsychology services to pediatrics.
