Montgomery Quilt Company forms craft community Kimberly Baird, a Montgomery County resident, took ownership of the Montgomery Quilt Com- pany on March 6, 2020. During this time, Baird said she continued with her business by o ering delivery services. The setup Baird said she joined the quilt community about in life, Baird said she grew up around her grand- mother who was a seamstress in Montgomery.

“I mainly did handwork and hand quilting, because I got into a big ght with my sewing machine and put him in the closet,” Baird said. Making a quilt by hand takes Baird around two to three months.
