3 FM 812 enhancements Project: The project would widen 9.5 miles of FM 812 from two undivided lanes to four divided lanes, realign a 1.5-mile stretch between US 183 and FM 973 to eliminate the S-curve, add a shared-use path and sidewalks, improve drainage and upgrade ve bridges. Update: design underway; utility adjustments began in late 2025 • Timeline: 2024-2031 • Cost: $145 million • Funding source: Texas State Highway Fund 4 Highway 21 improvement project Project: Proposed improvements include widening about 7 miles of Hwy. 21 from County Road to Old Highway 20 from two lanes to four lanes with a grassy median and constructing a new bridge over US 290.
