PICKING A COLOR PALETTE
Carla Aston provided several steps for those choosing a color palette. ASSESS THE SPACE: Determine what is in the room to work with rst, whether it’s furniture, ooring or lighting. CREATE A MOOD BOARD : Start with existing items in the room to create a visualization. OBTAIN SAMPLES: Add samples of new items for a space before buying them. CHECK FOR UNDERTONES: Examine the samples in the same light and place to determine the undertones. MIX IT UP: Combine dierent colors in a palette to create a look that is not monochromatic.
