Timeline: January-August Cost: $240,000 Funding sources: Montgomery Coun- ty Precinct 2, Texas Department of Transportation UPCOMING PROJECTS 3 David Memorial Drive extension Right of way clearing to extend David Memorial Drive to Hwy. 242 took place in mid-March, and Shenandoah officials approved the three-party interlocal fund- ing agreement with Montgomery County in April. As of July 13, the city of Conroe has not approved the Conroe portion of the funding. Bidding took place June 8, and construction will begin pending an agreement on Conroe’s portion of the construction costs, which are about $2 million, Bleyl said. The estimated cost of the project was updated from $9.1 million to $7.8 million, with the construction bid coming in at about $7.4 million, Bleyl said. Timeline: July 2023-July 2024 Cost: $7.8 million Funding sources: city of Shenandoah, city Oak Ridge North approved easement agreements with Entergy Texas in Jan- uary to begin moving utilities to make way for a project to align Robinson Road across Hanna Road. Delays with Entergy’s relocation plans have set the project back to begin in August, according to city officials.
