Mixology Candle Bar blends creativity, community After two decades in the oil and gas industry, Ashley Paris-Alderson said she decided it was time to ignite a new kind of spark. Paris-Alderson founded Mixology Candle Bar on creativity, connection and community with the mission to be a light for others, one candle at a time. What’s special about it? Paris-Alderson said her business came into place with very small hiccups. “It was like God’s divine plan, it all fell into candles with team-building corporate events, parties and vendor market events. How it works Guests can book a class online with an expe- rience fee starting at $25 and select a candle size ranging from 8-20 oz. for $7.50-$27.50.

Utilizing soy blends and cotton wicks, Mixology Candle Bar oers over 50 scents and 40 vessel options. At its in-store bar, customers can smell fragrance oils and select three or four scents to mix with sta guidance. After a year of operating Mixology Candle Bar, Paris-Alderson said she hopes to expand the business with more locations within the next year.
