Newly Elected Officials and Officer Appointments In the November 2024 election, four at-large positions on The Woodlands Township Board of Directors—designated as positions 1, 2, 3, and 4—were elected. Each position carries a two-year term, and consolidated election results will be posted on the Township’s official website for public review. The Oaths of Office for these newly elected members, along with officer nominations, are set for November 20, 2024. Don’t miss out on two iconic traditions to kick off the Holiday Season in The Woodlands this November! Let the Magic of the Season Begin!
Each year, The Woodlands Waterway lights up with festive holiday decorations, and on November 23, this season will debut the exciting new Waterway Walk-Thru lighting display (free and open to the public). The path from Town Green Park to Waterway Square will feature 3D walk-through tunnels, ground cover lighting, ice clusters and more. This 60-90 minute experience combines music, sound, and movement, creating unique holiday photo opportunities for all ages!

Thanksgiving Trash Pickup There will be no trash or recycling pickup on Thanksgiving Day, so if Thursday is your usual pickup day, it will be moved to Friday, and Friday’s trash and recycling will be picked up on Saturday. See below for more details .
