Studio director Aaron-Marie Harding said Legacy Dance Academy curriculum diers from other studios because it breaks down the mechanics of dance steps. Along with learning the steps, class time is also dedicated to teaching students about their muscle groups, why they are important and how they relate to dance, Harding said. Additionally, they give attention to all students, not just dancers that shine, Harding said. “You’re missing a whole other section of kids that might struggle with exibility or might need extra help with steps but still want that same comradery,” Harding said.
