Roads aected in downtown reconstruction
A portion of Frisco’s Fourth Street will be perma- nently closed starting in mid-September. What you need to know The closure is part of the city’s more than $70 million downtown redevelopment project, which also closed lanes on the southern half of Main Street between First and Fifth streets—from the Frisco Rail Yard to the The Blushing Bride Bou- tique—on Aug. 15 as contractors place utilities and repave the road, according to an Aug. 14 city news release. This will shift traffic into a two-lane system on the north side of the street. Until now, a similar pattern was in place
Construction is underway on Main Street in Frisco. Lanes have been reduced to one lane moving in either direction.
