The activity center, located at 501 E. Hopkins St., San Marcos, was approved by voters in a $5.3 million bond election in May 1994 and opened in 1997. The center expanded in 2001 by nearly 4,000 square feet and recently re- opened in May following a seven-month closure due to flooding. The center offers a variety of classes, in-person and virtual, and members have access to basketball courts, aerobics studio rooms, an indoor swimming pool and more.
