Highland Homes and Tellus Group will bring a 190-acre residential development to Prosper. The builder and developer groups are bringing the residential neighborhood, Mirabella, to the corner of University Drive and Custer Road, according to an April 1 news release. The details The development will break ground this summer and homes will begin selling in late 2026. It will bring about 285 homes to Prosper, according to the release. Huntington Homes, the luxury division of High- land Homes, will be oering homes in the commu- nity. Other builders have not yet been identied. Pricing has not yet been determined but could start at an estimated $1 million, said Je Stinson, Senior Vice President of Land for Highland Homes, in the release. The community will be gated with “oversized lots” and “scenic hike-and-bike trails,” according to the release. It will also include a creek and mature tree canopies with pockets of parks and open spaces. The background Highland Homes is a Dallas-based builder and Tellus Group is the developer that also brought Prosper Windsong Ranch. The homes in the development will feed into Prosper ISD. Highland Homes has been actively pursuing land for residential communities that they will self-develop or work with a development partner, according to the release. Founded 40 years ago, Highland Homes builds nearly 4,000 homes across Texas each year, including nearly 40 communities in Dallas-Fort Worth. In addition to Windsong Ranch, Tellus Group is currently in varying stages of development of its other DFW communities: Mosaic in Celina, Meraki in Forney and Sherley Farms in Anna, comprising more than 10,000 lots and future homes.
