1 Parvin Branch Underpass Project: A new hike and bike trail will connect to the existing Parvin Branch Trail and pass under Preston Road and U.S. Highway 380. Update: The project is currently under construction, which is set to cost nearly $1.5 million. • Location: Preston Road and Parvin Branch Way • Timeline: Q2 2023-Q1 2025 • Size: 400 feet 2 Northwest Community Park Project: The new $40 million community park will sit across from PGA Headquarters and could include hike and bike trails, as well as a playground. Update: The project wrapped up design in 2024 and is currently under construction. • Location: Teel Parkway and Fields Parkway • Timeline: Q3 2024-Q1 2026 • Size: 120 acres 3 Shepherds Glen Park Project: An existing park near the intersection of Rolater Road and Coit Road is being renovated. Update: The $3.3 million project is under construction. • Location: Canoe Road and Alpine Circuit • Timeline: Q4 2024-Q4 2025 • Size: 14 acres 4 Buffalo Ridge Park Project: A new $2.5 million neighborhood park that could feature playgrounds and a basketball court is being built. Update: After holding community meetings to finalize the vision for the park, the design phase for the project ended in 2024 and it is currently under construction. • Location: Independence Parkway and Main Street • Timeline: Q4 2024-Q4 2025 • Size: 7.6 acres 5 Frisco on the Green Project: A new neighborhood park will be built near the Fields West development. The park is expected to cost $7.6 million. Update: The project is currently in the design phase, which could end at the end of 2025. • Location: Poppyvine Road and Teel Parkway • Timeline: Q4 2025-Q4 2026
