2 Northpark Drive overpass Project: This project will expand Northpark Drive from four to six lanes between Hwy. 59 and Russell Palmer Road, and add an overpass over the Union Pacific Railroad and Loop 494. Update: In a December newsletter, former Houston Mayor Pro Tem Dave Martin said the contractor is continuing to work on the drainage and detention components of the project and is also working to resolve utility conflicts. • Timeline: spring 2023-fall 2025 • Cost: $9.5 million (city of Houston), $52 million (Tax Increment Reinvestment Zone No. 10/Lake Houston Redevelopment Authority) • Funding sources: city of Houston, TIRZ 10/LHRA
